I Corinthians 12:24-27

But God has put the body together.... that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

It was a good night

We had a great night's sleep!  So grateful - thank you for your prayers.  This fourth cycle means we are officially a third of the way through with her treatment.

Today, Amanda and I will have a lovely day of football, movies, books and laundry.  Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

I continue to be amazed and touched at how many of you follow Amanda's progress and love on our family.  I have times when I am tired of myself, tired of cancer, and frankly, just tired of this journey that can be so difficult.  During those times, it never fails that someone will reach out and I am reminded that we are not alone in the middle of this storm.  I am reminded that we have people praying for us, and I am reminded of His faithfulness.  You bless me and encourage me, and I am thankful.

1 Corinthians 12:24-27
But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

  1. Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you: I have called you by your name, you are mine. Should you pass through the sea, I will be there with you; or through rivers, they will not swallow you up. Should you walk through fire, you will not be scorched and the flames will not burn you... Do not be afraid, for I am with you.
