I Corinthians 12:24-27

But God has put the body together.... that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

Beach Day!

Since we are on vacation, what are bedtimes?  Tom's parents, Wayne and Paula Watson, drove down yesterday to spend a few days with us on the coast.  Late last night, Amanda was feeling restless, so we went for a walk on the beach.  At 11:00 at night.  No joke.  We walked on the beach and then ended up visiting a pier we had seen earlier in the day that I wanted to walk out on.   So the pictures below were taken late last night.  The kids loved it.

Today was beach day.  We visited St. Jo island for a walk on the beach to collect shells for Amanda.  St. Jo is only accessible by riding over on a jetty boat, so we got in a boat ride and dolphin sightings on the way.  We found starfish, conch shells and even complete sand dollars, just to name a few! The day was windy - and I mean windy.  Sustained winds at times of 30 to 40 mph was the weather forecast and I wouldn't doubt it for a minute.  After our visit to St. Jo, lunch and a short rest, we went to the beach down from the house to look for more shells and to play in the water.  In windy 60 degree weather.  After your feet went numb, it wasn't too bad!
Ready or not St. Jo, here we come!
We had the beach all to ourselves.
It was a fun experience, but by the time we headed back, we were all ready to get out of the wind.
Round two of searching for shells!
We fed the birds honey grahams.  It was fun to have them dip down so close to you and snatch the cookie out of the air.
Tomorrow, we will pack up and head home.  This week has been a blessing to our family.  A huge thank you to the sweet Bell family for allowing us to stay in their home.  We had a wonderful time.

Another adventure filled, memory making Spring Break for Team Watson!

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Just for grins...
I realized that I like to take selfies from horseback.  That is usually the only time I am in a picture since I am the one behind the camera.  The top picture is in Montana this past December and the picture below was taken yesterday - at the beach.  It is sad that in both pictures I have a headband on because it was cold!!
