I Corinthians 12:24-27

But God has put the body together.... that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

The rest of Spring Break in pictures..

If you have ever traveled with another family, whether you are related to them or not, you will understand it when I say that there is a bit of concern on whether or not you will get along.....and when it is a week and you are 10 hours from home, that amps things up just a notch.

Even though Tom was sick all week, he managed to somehow ski with us for two days.  So even though he wasn't in top form when it came to hanging out and playing games, he managed to have a good time.  I guess we will have to have another trip so he can fully enjoy the company! :)

While there were definitely moments of tears and heartache, I think you will be able to tell from the photos below how our vacation with the Moore family went...

We never got tired of seeing these guys...
Our house had a beautiful wrap around porch with some pretty views....
After a long day of skiing....or tumbling down the hill in my case - the hot tub was a great place to relax!
I am incredibly blessed to call this woman my friend.
It was a week of playing Hearts....for some reason, getting a game of Nerds started was a challenge!
An afternoon of shopping with the girls.  A breathtaking mosaic of Starry, Starry Night on a beautiful day.
The game room turned out to be a great place to hang out.  Whether it was playing pool, foosball, cards or guitars, it was a great space.

This staircase....narrow steep and a little scary, was how we went downstairs to the game room.
Karen took on her kids and proved to be quite the foosball player!

Brandon has really surpassed my guitar skills thanks to Micheal's lessons and time jamming together.
A little friendly family competition.
Take note of Micheal's awesome pose for me.....it seemed that the behavior was contagious...
Seriously.  All I wanted was a good picture.....but nooooo, these two had to go goofy on me every time.
ADORE this picture.  So much so that even though it is blurry, I had to post it.  For me, this kind of sums up how the week went - full of laughter, silliness and fun.
It is always interesting to see what people keep in their kitchens.  You just never know what you will find!

Spring Break 2015~ Ruidoso, New Mexico

I hope that you can tell we had a great week.  I am so incredibly thankful for Brian, Karen, Michael, Matthew and Katelyn Moore and how they helped make another "first" a little easier for our family to get through.

We continue to be overwhelmed by the love and support we are receiving on this journey....

So hard to believe this was only a year ago..
Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
