I Corinthians 12:24-27

But God has put the body together.... that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

Update on cycle twelve - day three

Cycle twelve is moving along and things are going well! Overall, Amanda is feeling good.  Today, we actually made it to ROCK for a make-up lesson and she was able to ride for about 20 minutes!  I was simply thrilled that she even felt up to giving it a try!  It has been awhile since she has ridden, so she was looking forward to it.  Today, Sandra Jo rode along with her - what a nice surprise!  They did their own "trail ride" and enjoyed a leisurely ride in the pasture.  It was pretty warm out though!

Tonight she will take her third dose.  I'm praying that the remaining days will continue to go as smoothly as yesterday and today have been.

Sunday will be her last chemo dose of cycle twelve.  Still wrapping my brain around that joyous fact....it seems like yesterday we were sitting in Dr. Harrod's office, me fighting tears as Tom, Dr. Harrod and I reviewed the chemotherapy treatment plan.  We had no clue what the road ahead would be like.  Every experience, every trial, every triumph has been an unbelievable lesson in faith and trust.  Our beautiful daughter is walking proof of answered prayers and the amazing grace of our God.  I think I'm going to go give her a big hug right now, just because I can.  Our family is so incredibly blessed.

Ephesians 3:17-20
...that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
