Day three, cycle nine
Each day it seems Amanda feels a little worse. She was determined to go to ROCK today and despite my
misgivings, we went. I just felt I needed to step back and allow her to do
what she enjoys, even though I thought she might feel worse tonight
because of it. She had a wonderful time riding Tara today. I was right about her feeling bad tonight, but I am not saying a word. We missed last week due to the weather and will miss next week because of Spring Break. She
needed to ride today.
As
you can tell, Tara is part pony. She is an Arabian/Welsh cross and
stands only 12.5 hands! While Amanda usually likes to ride the taller
horses, Ms. Judy told her Tara has a smooth trot, so that's all it took
for Amanda to give her a try! Romeo is out of commission again so Tara may be her go-to
horse until he is back in action, we will have to just wait and see!
