Good appointment today!

Amanda's appointment today went very well. Her counts are good and the infusion went smoothly.  While we were there, Dr. Christina pulled a loose tooth (it was very, very loose) that Amanda had been avoiding pulling for a few weeks. I am actually very glad because first, I wasn't the bad guy and second, she bled for some time after it the tooth was pulled.  That was most likely due to the Avastin, so it was nice to be in the doctor's office for that experience. Even the "normal" things don't feel normal right now.  Always an interesting time at the doctor's office!!

As a side note, I don't know if I have said this lately, but I am SO THANKFUL for the amazing people we have the privilege to work with. I know it is God's grace poured out on every area of our lives and we are so grateful. 

We have two weeks before Amanda starts her ninth cycle.  Her hip is slowly feeling better and we are trying to baby and protect it as much as possible. Every day is a blessing and we aren't taking anything for granted. 

We have a fun surprise up our sleeve, but you will have to wait until this weekend to find out what we've been up to! Stay tuned! I can't wait!!
